Vinci is a personal knowledge bank built from the videos and podcasts you choose to follow: you add channels or paste links, we retrieve publicly available metadata and transcripts for those videos, summarize and index them, and you search and query your bank from this dashboard or from your AI assistant. Vinci is operated from Slovenia. Contact: support@use-vinci.com.
You need an account with a verified email address. Keep your password confidential - actions taken through your session are yours. You must be at least 16 years old and provide accurate information.
Videos, transcripts, and channel metadata that Vinci retrieves at your direction remain the property of their creators and are subject to the source platform's terms. Vinci stores this material in your private bank solely to provide the service to you - for your personal research and reference. You are responsible for ensuring that the content you add to your bank, and the way you use it, respect the source platform's terms of service and the rights of content creators. Summaries, notes, and answers generated from your bank are for your use; they do not transfer any rights in the underlying works. We will remove content from your bank on a substantiated request from its rights holder.
Summaries, answers, and relevance scores are generated by AI. They can be incomplete or wrong. That's why results link back to the source video with timestamps - verify important claims against the source before relying on them. Vinci is a research tool, not professional (legal, financial, medical) advice.
Vinci offers a free plan (Apprentice) and paid plans (Student and Practitioner) - current prices are shown on the pricing page. A larger Master plan with custom limits is available on request from the pricing page. Paid plans raise your processing limits.
Subscriptions renew automatically until canceled. You can cancel at any time and keep access until the end of the paid period, after which your account moves to the free Apprentice plan - your bank is never deleted, but if you are over the free limits you can't add new content until you are back under them.
You can change plans at any time. Upgrades take effect immediately and we charge the prorated difference to your card right away; downgrades and switches between monthly and annual billing apply a prorated credit toward your next invoice. If a renewal payment fails we email you and Stripe retries the charge; if it keeps failing, your plan lapses to Apprentice. Refunds are governed by the Refund Policy. We may change prices with at least 30 days' notice, effective at your next renewal.
If you subscribe as a consumer in the EU or UK, you keep all mandatory statutory rights, including the 14-day right of withdrawal described in the Refund Policy. Plans purchased for business purposes are business (B2B) contracts, to which consumer withdrawal rights do not apply.
The service is provided "as is"; we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability and may change features over time. Retrieval of third-party content depends on the source platforms and may stop working for reasons outside our control. To the extent permitted by law, our total liability is capped at the fees you paid in the 12 months before the claim; we are not liable for indirect damages or data loss beyond our reasonable control. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, or consumers' mandatory rights.
You can stop using the service and delete your bank at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, with notice where practicable. Upon termination we delete your content per the Privacy Policy.
Slovenian law governs these terms. Consumers also keep the protection of the mandatory rules of their country of residence, and may bring disputes before their local courts.
We may update these terms; material changes will be announced by email or in the dashboard at least 14 days in advance. Continued use after the effective date means acceptance.
