Refund Policy

Canceling

You can cancel any subscription at any time, yourself, from the billing settings. Cancellation stops future charges; you keep full access until the end of the period you already paid for. Your bank stays in place - your account moves to the free plan, and if you're over its limits you won't be able to add new videos until you're back under them, but nothing is deleted. Canceling by itself does not trigger a refund.

14-day withdrawal (EU & UK consumers)

If you subscribe as a consumer in the EU or UK, you may withdraw from a new subscription within 14 days of purchase without giving a reason - email support@use-vinci.com from your account address. Because you request that the service starts immediately at checkout, the refund is proportional: we deduct the share of the billing period that has already elapsed and refund the rest.

  • Cancel a $36 monthly plan 3 hours after subscribing → refund of essentially the full $36.
  • Cancel it on day 14 → you pay for the 14 days you had the service (about $16.80) and receive the remainder (about $19.20) back.
  • Same logic applies to yearly plans, prorated by day.

Changing plans

You can upgrade, downgrade, or switch between monthly and annual billing at any time from the billing settings. Upgrades take effect immediately and we charge the prorated difference for the rest of the current period to your card right away. Downgrades and switches to monthly billing apply a prorated credit for your unused time toward your next invoice (they are not paid out as cash). Changing plans is not a cancellation and does not trigger a refund.

Renewals and failed payments

The withdrawal right applies to the initial purchase, not to automatic renewals. Cancel before the renewal date to avoid the next charge - annual subscribers get a reminder email a few days before renewal (monthly plans renew without a separate reminder). If a payment fails, we email you and Stripe automatically retries; if it keeps failing your plan lapses to the free Apprentice tier and your bank is preserved. Renewal charges are not refundable except where the law requires otherwise or at our discretion.

Outside the withdrawal window

After the 14-day window (or where no statutory withdrawal right applies, including business/B2B subscriptions), we don't refund partial periods. Because Vinci offers a free plan with no time limit, you can test everything that matters before ever paying. If something went genuinely wrong - you were double-charged, or the service was materially broken for you - write to us; we handle such cases individually and err on the side of the customer.

How refunds are paid

Refunds go to the original payment method via Stripe, typically within 5–10 business days of approval.
