Connecting ChatGPT, Claude or another assistant

• ChatGPT: install Vinci from the plugin directory, or add a custom MCP server with the URL shown in Vinci under Settings → Connect, then sign in to Vinci when asked. Vinci also appears in ChatGPT's sidebar as an app with your triage and vault.
• Claude: in claude.ai go to Settings → Connectors → Add custom connector and paste the same URL; in Claude Code run claude mcp add --transport http vinci https://use-vinci.com/api/mcp.
• A connected assistant can search your vault, read summaries and transcripts, and - only when you ask it to - save videos, follow channels, and save or skip new videos in your triage. It cannot delete anything.
• Disconnect at any time by removing Vinci from your assistant's plugin or connector settings.
• New to Vinci? Signing in from ChatGPT or Claude offers a free account; after you confirm your email you go straight back to finishing the connection.

Common questions

• A video I saved isn't searchable yet. Vinci prepares its notes first - usually a few minutes. Live streams and premieres are picked up once they finish.
• Billing and plans. Manage or cancel your subscription in the app under Plan. See the refund policy for withdrawals and refunds.
• Exporting or deleting your data. Export your vault from Settings → Data. To delete your account and everything in it, email support from your account address.
